Examinations and Assessment Regulations

This page sets out the official framework governing examinations conducted under CDT Group Germany, which comprises the following independent institutions:

  • Central International University Germany (CIU)
  • DLI Germany
  • Twikatane e.V Charity (CDT Group)


Each institution maintains autonomous authority over its academic, professional, and certification examinations in accordance with its approved internal statutes and regulatory framework.


1. Legal and Institutional Authority
1.1 Examinations conducted under CDT Group Germany are administered pursuant to the internal regulations, statutes, and academic policies of the respective institution.
1.2 Each constituent institution operates independently in matters concerning examination design, administration, grading, certification, and appeals.
1.3 The examination regulations published by each institution are legally binding upon all registered candidates.
1.4 All examination procedures are conducted in accordance with applicable German and European regulatory standards where relevant.


2. Institutional Examination Responsibility
2.1 Central International University Germany (CIU):
CIU is responsible for the administration of academic examinations relating to its higher education programs. These may include written examinations, oral examinations, practical assessments, research evaluations, coursework assessments, and thesis defenses, as defined by its academic regulations.


2.2 DLI Germany:
DLI Germany administers language proficiency examinations and related assessments in accordance with its curricular standards. Examinations may evaluate reading, writing, listening, speaking, and applied linguistic competencies.


2.3 Twikatane e.V Charity:
Twikatane e.V Charity oversees examinations and certification assessments connected to its educational outreach, vocational training, and community-based programs.


3. Examination Regulations and Compliance
3.1 All candidates are required to review and comply with the applicable Examination Rules and Regulations prior to registration.
3.2 Eligibility criteria, registration deadlines, documentation requirements, and fee obligations must be strictly observed.
3.3 Failure to comply with published regulations may result in rejection of the application or exclusion from the examination process.
3.4 Academic misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, impersonation, collusion, unauthorized materials, or any form of cheating, shall result in disciplinary measures as defined in the institutional regulations.


4. Examination Application Procedures

4.1 Official examination application forms are made available through this page for institutional use.
4.2 Candidates must submit the appropriate form corresponding to their institution and examination category.
4.3 Applications shall only be considered valid upon submission of complete documentation and, where applicable, confirmation of required fees.
4.4 Each institution reserves the right to approve, defer, or reject examination applications in accordance with its internal policies.


5. Assessment Integrity and Quality Assurance
5.1 CDT Group Germany upholds principles of academic integrity, fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity in all examination processes.
5.2 Examination materials and grading procedures are subject to internal review mechanisms to ensure consistency and reliability.
5.3 Records of examination results shall be maintained in accordance with institutional data protection and archival policies.
5.4 Certificates and official transcripts are issued exclusively by the respective institution responsible for the examination.


6. Appeals and Review
6.1 Candidates may submit formal appeals in accordance with the appeals procedure established by the relevant institution.
6.2 Appeals must be lodged within the specified timeframe and in the prescribed format.
6.3 Decisions following review shall be considered final unless otherwise provided under institutional regulations.


7. Official Communication
7.1 All official examination communication shall occur through the authorized administrative offices of the respective institution.
7.2 Candidates bear responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of their personal and contact information.
