PROJECT BRIEF

Twikatane e.V Charity, based in Germany and Zambia-Africa, is committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged and vulnerable youth across Africa, particularly in Zambia. In collaboration with Central International University (CIU) and other generous partners, the initiative identifies young people from the streets and disadvantaged backgrounds—those whose families cannot afford to send them to school—and provides them with tuition-free education and skills development opportunities.

The program offers a structured pathway to self-reliance and empowerment through four key stages:

Stage 1: Counseling & Winning Mindset (CWM) Training – Equipping youth with emotional resilience, self-belief, and a growth-oriented mindset.

Stage 2: Main Skills Course – Providing hands - on vocational and technical training in high-demand fields.

Stage 3: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree – Offering further academic advancement through accredited undergraduate programs.

Stage 4: Youth Cooperatives Formation – Supporting graduates to launch cooperative businesses, apply their skills, and generate sustainable income.

Through this initiative, Twikatane e.V and CIU aim to break the cycle of poverty and dependency by nurturing skilled, confident, and entrepreneurial young leaders ready to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the continent at large.

To stop the need for African youth to migrate to Western countries in search of a better future.
Instead, we are to empower them right where they are - equipping them with education, skills, and opportunities to build successful and fulfilling lives locally.
